Cancer Bus Tour
Posted or Updated on 1 May 2026
The Black Country Cancer Bus Tour is returning from 5 to 9 May, with cancer experts visiting locations across the Black Country on a bus dedicated to providing health checks and important cancer screening information.
The bus aims to give our local communities the opportunity to not only catch any warning signs of cancer as early as possible, but it will also be a chance for people to talk to a host of professionals who will share the signs to look out for, provide helpful self-care advice and signpost to local services.
Our cancer bus tour is coming to an area near you! Drop in and speak to healthcare professionals.
- 5 May Stafford Street Car Park, Dudley
- 6 May Queen Square, Wolverhampton
- 7 May Sainsbury's Reedswood, Walsall
- 8 May New Square Shopping Centre, West Brom
- 9 May Merry Hill, Dudley (outside M&S/Argos)
An NHS double-decker bus will be touring the Black Country from Tuesday 5 May to Saturday 9 May to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer, and the importance of early detection.
The cancer bus tour offers local people the opportunity to speak directly with healthcare professionals.
Visitors can learn how to recognise potential cancer symptoms, get advice on what to do if they are concerned and find out about local support services. Information will also be available on the three main NHS cancer screening programmes breast, bowel and cervical screening. Free health checks will also be available, including blood pressure and blood sugar testing.
