Telephone lines to the practice are open from 8.00am Monday to Friday and close at 6.30pm apart from a Thursday when they close at 1.00pm. Between 1.00pm to 6.30pm on Thursday if you need an appointment please ring OurNet on 01922 501 999. Ournet are an alternative provider with whom Rough Hay Surgery hold a contract for them to conduct telephone consultations or face to face appointments at times stipulated by the practice.
Extended Access Appointments
Extra GP appointments are available on weekdays between 6.30pm to 9.00pm. If you need an appointment please ring OurNet on 01922 501 999. People will only be seen if they have booked an appointment.
NHS 111 will also be able to book an appointment for you if they feel you need to be seen by a GP.
Surgery Closure
When surgery is closed for staff training, services will be provided by OurNet and can be accessed by calling 01922 501999.

When the Practice is closed your call will be diverted to our contracted alternative provider: Ournet (On a Thursday between 1.00pm to 6.30pm)
Or you can call NHS 111 24 hours a day.
If you are unable to contact the doctor and the emergency persists, ring 999 without delay.
Emergencies
For life-threatening emergencies such as:
- Severe bleeding;
- Collapse or unconsciousness;
- Severe chest pains
Telephone 999 or 112 for an ambulance immediately, then inform your doctor.
